New Hydra-Cell Pulsation Dampeners Virtually Eliminate Hydraulic Shock to Protect and Enhance Pumping System Performance
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Wanner Engineering introduces Hydra-Cell Pulsation Dampeners. Four different sizes are available to support all Hydra-Cell series positive displacement pumps. They are available from stock with pressure ranges up to 4000 PSI (276 BAR) and operating temperature ranges from -40ºF to 350ºF (-40ºC to 176ºC). Bodies are available in a full range of chemical resistant materials to satisfy nearly any application requirement. Custom models are available.

These Pulsation Dampeners protect pipes, valves, fittings, meters and in-line instrumentation by producing steady and continuous fluid flow up to 99% free from pulsation and vibration, even when dosing, blending or proportioning fluids. This ensures accuracy, longevity and repeatability of in-line meters and enables the uniform application of material in spraying and coating systems. It also reduces product agitation, foaming, splashing and degradation.

Positive Displacement pumps create pulsation and hydraulic shock due to the reciprocating nature of their stroking action, potentially damaging the entire pumping system. Hydra-Cell Pulsation Dampeners remove virtually all hydraulic shock to protect the pumping system while enhancing overall performance and reliability of fluid handling equipment in industrial, chemical transfer and precision metering applications.
